Surveys

For Local Authorities, LSVTs and other Registered Social Landlords, surveys are a fact of life.   Be it part of;

  • the Options Appraisal process
  • pre and post-transfer consultation
  • collecting performance indicators
  • Best Value
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Business Excellence
  • good management

there is a need to obtain systematic feedback from tenants, staff and others.

Acquiring this feedback may require a qualitative or quantitative approach - or a combination of the two. You may need a one-off survey, periodic or annual surveys or feedback integrated within day to day business processes.

We offer two forms of support with meeting your survey needs.   We can do it for you - or we can provide your organisation with the tools and framework to undertake the work yourselves.

  THE SURVEY SERVICE

Our survey service involves;

  • Working with you to establish what the survey is to achieve
  • Establishing whether quantitative and/or a qualitative approach is required
  • Constructing an appropriate questionnaire [or utilising existing ones such as the NHF STATUS questionnaires]
  • Establishing a sample framework
  • Administering the survey
  • Collating and analysing the survey responses
  • Making recommendations for action based upon the results
  • Construction of an Action Plan for the organisation

Using computer technology, we are able to rapidly and efficiently administer and process surveys.   By so doing, we are able to reduce timescales, and cut costs.   Paper-based surveys are processed electronically using scanning technology.   Web-based versions of the questionnaires can also be administered over the internet.
